On behalf of Nipissing University Athletics, I would like to extend greetings and a warm welcome to the student-athletes, coaches, officials, sponsors and spectators of the 2009 CCAA Women’s National Volleyball Championship. We are delighted you could join us for this national event that showcases the talent of Canada’s top collegiate women’s volleyball players.

It takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to achieve such a high standard of excellence and I would like to congratulate all the student-athletes on earning the right to participate in this year’s event. Only one team will win the gold medal, but I hope that each team will reap the rewards of the experience and walk away from these Championships with wonderful life long memories.

The organizing committee is pleased to bring the exciting and fast paced style of CCAA volleyball to the North Bay and area community. The support of the University, our Student Union and all of our other sponsors has been tremendous. The organizing committee would like to thank each of the sponsors for their contribution to this event.
